Article Types

HIKAMI: Jurnal Ilmu Al-Qur’an dan Tafsir currently accepts Research Articles in Indonesian, English, and Arabic. In the future, the journal aims to expand its publication formats to include Review Essays and Book Reviews, covering critical discussions of primary sources and secondary scholarship relevant to Qur’anic Studies and Tafsir Studies.

• Research Article: Original research that contributes to Qur’anic Studies, Tafsir Studies, 'Ulum al-Qur'an, and related fields.

• Review Essay (planned): Critical engagement with two or more scholarly works addressing a shared topic, question, or debate.

• Book Review (planned): A critical assessment of a scholarly publication relevant to the study of the Qur’an and its interpretation.

Review Essays and Book Reviews are planned for future development and are not currently open for submission.
