Statement of Authorships
HIKAMI: Jurnal Ilmu Al-Qur’an dan Tafsir recognizes authorship as both academic credit and responsibility for the originality, accuracy, and integrity of published work. Authorship should be limited to individuals who have made substantial scholarly contributions to the research, including its conception, research design, source collection, textual or empirical analysis, interpretation of findings, or drafting and critical revision of the manuscript.
All listed authors must approve the final version of the manuscript and agree to its submission to HIKAMI. The corresponding author is responsible for ensuring that all eligible contributors are appropriately credited, that no individual who does not meet the authorship criteria is included, and that all authors’ names, affiliations, and contributions are accurately reported.
Individuals who have contributed to the work but do not meet the authorship criteria may be acknowledged with their consent. Honorary, gift, guest, and ghost authorship are not permitted. Any changes to the author list after submission must be justified and agreed upon by all authors concerned, subject to the journal’s approval.
Artificial intelligence tools cannot be listed as authors or co-authors. Authors remain fully responsible for the content of their manuscripts and must disclose the use of generative AI tools in accordance with HIKAMI’s Generative AI Policy, where applicable.
